Children’s Commissioner calls for ban on smacking in England

Writing in the Observer / Guardian, the Children’s Commissioner has called for a ban on smacking in England, as is already in place in Scotland and Wales. The comments came as relatives of 10 year-old Sara Sharif are on trial for her alleged murder following abuse by her father.…
