Home Office announce proposed Register for people convicted of child cruelty offences

On 2 March 2026, the Home Office announced a proposal for a ‘new register for people convicted of child cruelty offences’, They stated, ‘child cruelty convictions such as neglect and abandonment will face the same police notification requirements as registered sex offenders’.…
