New private law cases received by Cafcass in September fell by 13 per cent

Cafcass received a total of 3,623 new private law cases in September 2021 which is 543 cases (13.0 per cent) fewer than the same month in 2020. These cases involved 5,130 children, which is 1,107 (17.2 per cent) fewer children than September 2020. For the month-by-month figures,…
