Care proceedings solicitor
Thompson & Co Solicitors is a well-established firm of Solicitors with offices in South London & West London. This particular position is advertised for our Morden office at 164 Kenly Road Morden, SW19 3DL.
The Family Department has been in existence since the for over 18 years. It has represented clients at all levels including the Supreme Court. The department specialises in public and private law cases, including cases involving care, international child abduction, divorce, private children matters and ancillary relief. The firm has the benefit of a Legal Aid contract in family. The family team is benefitted from having a member of the Law Society’s Advanced Family Law Panel overseeing private law cases and a Children Panel member overseeing public law matters.
The position is advertised for Family Solicitor with or without Children Panel membership, to undertake public law work.
The start date is as soon as possible and preferably by 1st August 2024. Applicants may however be accommodated based on their experience and notice periods.

Salary: Negotiable (depending on PQE and panel membership)
